The student is asked to write about her next vacation, using the grammar and vocabulary she has studied. She needs to use ‘going to’, and maybe the present continuous for the future, and she needs to use vocabulary that we use for travel, such as ‘travel, go by plane, visit and see’. She needs to think about this before she starts writing, and she needs to do a mind map to generate ideas about what she’s going to write about.
She used a list to plan her writing, but a mind map would have given her more to write about.
This is quite good for her level, but why did I cross out some of the things she wrote?
